On March 11, 2026, at the Adidas Arena in Paris, OC Sport took another step in its ambition to transform sporting events. The Transat Paprec won the Bronze medal in the "Responsible Commitment" category at the 22nd SPORSORA Awards. This distinction recognizes our vision: to make sport a driver of concrete societal change.

A pioneering innovation in the service of gender equality

At the heart of this project lies a conviction: excellence knows no gender. In 2023, we made the bold decision to make mixed crews mandatory for the start of the Transat Paprec. This unprecedented format in the history of ocean sailing has broken glass ceilings and provided a platform for talented female sailors.

The success of the 2025 edition confirms the relevance of this strategy. With 19 women at the starting line, the race boasts nearly three times the female participation of the last Route du Rhum. This 72% jump in participation between 2023 and 2025 proves that supply creates demand and that we have the power to change the game.

Sustainability as a performance driver

This Bronze trophy also underscores our mission: to organize sustainable events that respect nature and enhance local communities. In partnership with the Paprec Group, a major player in the circular economy, we have developed an editorial and operational narrative centered on responsibility.

Our commitment is not a source of constraints, but an ideal to strive for. From reducing our carbon footprint to raising public awareness about the villages, every action counts in preserving our playground.

Exceptional exposure for offshore racing

Beyond its societal impact, the 17th edition of the Transat Paprec demonstrated remarkable media and popular appeal. The figures testify to the support of the public and our partners for this socially responsible model:

  • Media reach : 10 million euros equivalent in media buying.

  • Digital engagement : 1 million views on live streams and 700,000 sessions on the official map.

  • Immersive experience : 90,000 multimedia server visits and 10,000 virtual skippers engaged in Virtual Regatta.

  • Sporting performance : a demanding 8,111 km course between Concarneau and Saint-Barthélemy.

This recognition at the SPORSORA Trophies, coupled with our Gold medal at the Grand Prix Sport Business for supporting women's sport, establishes our legitimacy as a key player in sustainable sport.

OC Sport continues to innovate to offer incredible experiences and chart new paths for the future of competition.
