The 12th edition of the Nice-Cannes marathon, which attracted over 12,000 runners including 82 nations represented over the various distances, saw Ethiopian runner Alemu Gemchu take victory ahead of the Kenyan, Robert Chemosin. In the women’s field, there were no surprises with the Ethiopian runner, Alémito Lema taking the tape in a time of 02:37:44.
