“We welcome this partnership which unites the oldest French deposit bank with the oldest single-handed transatlantic race. By giving its name to this legendary event, at the moment when it leaves France for the first time, the CIC, a bank of territories serving the local economy, confirms its interest in sport and for the whole of the nautical sector,” declared Daniel Baal, general director of the CIC.

Hervé Favre, general director of OC Sport Pen Duick, declared: “We are proud and happy to welcome the CIC as title partner of this legendary event. Without sponsors involved, ocean racing and the best sailors would not be able to offer us such spectacles. »
