On the eve of the start of the Double Transat – Concarneau – Saint-Barthélemy, Maison Champagne Charles Collin becomes Official Supplier of all the races organized by OC Sport Pen Duick for the next four years, including the legendary Route du Rhum- Destination Guadeloupe in 2022.
A commitment built over the long term
This inaugural race will be the first witness to this strong commitment on the part of this cooperative cellar. Already official supplier of the latest Solitaire du Figaro, Maison Champagne Charles Collin will once again be present at the start next August. Finally, it will continue its commitment to La Route du Rhum - Destination Guadeloupe, the 2022 edition of which will coincide with the 70th anniversary of the creation of this beautiful wine house. Quite a symbol! The bubbles will once again cross the Atlantic on The Transat CIC in 2024.
The four years to come and the different races will be accompanied by the know-how of this House created in 1952 on the Côte des Bar territory. Today, there are more than a hundred winegrowers who bring it to life and give it its character. Committed, determined to give the best, these women and men share with the sailors the sense of surpassing themselves, of technicality and of opening up to new horizons. So many points of agreement which today give meaning to the arrival of Maison Champagne Charles Collin as Official Supplier. Welcome aboard and see you on May 12 for the Double Transat – Concarneau – Saint-Barthélemy.
They said :
Mamadou Djayan Gueye - Sales & Marketing Director of Maison Champagne Charles Collin: “The world of ocean racing and sailing in general reflect values to which we feel close. Charles Collin is a cooperative cellar, we are therefore engaged in a process of pooling resources and sharing to make quality Champagne. This requires great solidarity which echoes that demonstrated by the sailors. The self-sacrifice, courage and openness that characterize us bring us closer to the maritime world in a very natural way. These different points in common allow us to make a long-term commitment. We are not looking for a show-off, but we want to establish a strategic vision, write a story over several years and involve our distribution partners in Brittany and Loire-Atlantique.”
Hervé Favre, President of OC Sport Pen Duick: “It is always a pleasure and a great pride for us organizers to welcome a new Official Supplier on board. The arrival of Maison Champagne Charles Collin makes us all the more happy as it is long-term and based on a base of common values. The great moments of each of our events will now be celebrated in the presence of this cooperative cellar which supports the work and commitment of all its winegrowers. Welcome to them and thank you for their trust.”
