Partnerships with SNCF
To reduce emissions related to travel during the Route du Rhum - Destination Guadeloupe 2022, we partnered with SNCF to deploy an incentive-based rail service, including customized schedules and preferential fares. Given its effectiveness, this low-carbon alternative for the general public will be offered again for the 2026 edition.
Some numbers :
- 5% : This is the proportion of visitors who arrived by train on the Route du Rhum - Destination Guadeloupe 2022
- 3 700tCO2e : Emissions avoided compared to using a combustion engine car at this event
