Media, local officials, partners and some of the world’s top offshore sailing talent gathered in Lorient, France today at the official opening of Le HUB by OC Sport.

Proudly on display to mark the entrance were the 3 latest generation Figaro Bénéteau 3s that will be managed by OC Sport from the new base, as well as their skippers Charles Caudrelier, Fabien Delyahye and Benjamin Schwartz - all alumni of the winning Franco-Chinese Dongfeng Race Team entry into the 2017/18 Volvo Ocean Race.

Managed by OC Sport’s French subsidiary OC Sport Pen Duick, ‘Le HUB by OC Sport’ draws on the company’s successful track record in the organisation of major offshore events and team management, to offer a full-service solution for international offshore sailing campaigns.

Located in Lorient in the heart of the ‘Sailing Valley’, Le Hub is the first base of its kind, offering a range of world-class facilities all under one roof to deliver ambitious and commercially-successful offshore sailing projects.

Available to international teams and skippers, OC Sport’s goal is to work with like-minded partners who are inspired by the challenge and adventure of offshore sailing and who want to win races.
