After a successful collaboration in 2016, the Haute Route and Heroïn are excited to be strengthening their partnership around a common vision: offering a unique experience to Haute Route participants, and allowing them to push past their limits on the most famous climbs in the world.

On Sunday May 7th runners taking part in the Harmony Geneva Marathon for Unicef races will - for the first time - be offered the opportunity to extend their run for a good cause.
Once they have crossed the finish line, participants in the marathon, half-marathon and relay marathon will be able to run the Unicef Extra Mile, a loop of a couple hundred metres along the Quai du Général-Guisan.
Why would you want to do that, you may ask? Answer: To offer your support for Unicef's vitally important projects in developing countries.

Charles Caudrelier, the skipper of Dongfeng, today names female sailing stars Carolijn Brouwer and Marie Riou as part of Dongfeng Race Team in the Volvo Ocean Race 2017-18.
Brouwer and Riou are the first female crew members to be announced under new rules designed to encourage participation by women in the world's toughest fully-crewed ocean race.
Brouwer (Netherlands), 43, is a three-time Olympian, a multiple world champion and a veteran of two Volvo Ocean Races in all-women crews, first with Amer Sports Too in 2001-02 and then with Team SCA in 2014-15.

With three ascents of legendary Mont Ventoux, some beautiful cols in its foothills and the incomparable landscapes of French Provence, the inaugural Haute Route Ventoux promises three days of memorable cycling from October 6th to 8th 2017.
For this three-day event, riders will cover 107km and 141km on the first two stages respectively, followed by a 22km Individual Time Trial from Bédoin on the Sunday.
