The Artemis Offshore Academy is a UK training programme of excellence for British short-handed sailors, providing a structure to bring talented sailors to the fore.

Designed to help them win major offshore solo and short-handed races with the ultimate goal of putting a British sailor in a position to win the legendary solo, non-stop round the world Vendée Globe race in the future. The Academy, backed by Artemis Investment Management, was created by OC Sport in 2010, and is the first of its kind in the UK to specifically focus on the solo and short-handed racing disciplines that traditionally have been dominated by French sailors who have benefited from similar style training academy's in France for many years.

The Academy sailors include young, aspirational sailors and Olympians who are looking for a new direction as well as professional sailors who feel the desire to go solo, and they train throughout the year and compete in the highly competitive Figaro and Mini class circuits. The Academy sailors and boats are also carefully integrated into the bespoke hospitality platform for Artemis Investment Management guests including a week long B2B hospitality event in August.
